Something in Silver

Hello, and welcome to Something In Silver, my little slice of heaven.
I have always loved silver jewellery… and finally made the time to start making it myself in 2017 with silver plated and semi-precious gemstone bead earring, bracelets and necklaces.
In 2018, I put myself on a Silver-Smithing Course and that was it, I was hooked! I now work in Sterling Silver utilising the traditional silver-smithing techniques, but I mix it up a bit combining the very modern precious metal clay (PMC) too. I am incredibly proud to have my work Hallmarked at the Assay Office in London (and you can see my mark above).
I do have a full job time in the NHS, which keeps me very busy, but in my downtime, I love creating. I now have a workshop in the shed, so if you can’t find me, I am probably there. I don’t make two items exactly the same (unless of course you ask me to), as I want everyone to have a piece of jewellery that is like them, special and unique.
Bespoke commissions are my favourite as it gives me a chance to work with you on something special. I live with 3 wonderful dogs, who keep me busy, I have a passion for wire hair standard Dachshunds, and you will often see the odd dog themed item. I am based down in Dymchurch on the lovely Romney Marsh.
Thank you for stopping by and having a look at my shiny things, I hope you find something you like, and if not, let me know what you would like and we can see if we can do it! I will also try and help with any repairs, or alternative create new items with your own jewellery.
Please see my FB page for more info.
Have a happy day
